For more than 37 years, Rusco Direct Logistics provides full-service trucking, warehousing and logistics for manufacturers and distributors across the New York Tri-State area and beyond.

The company, run by entrepreneur and logistics expert Michael Amin, has helped reshape the industry standard for Quality Service with Rusco’s Delivery service, it’s “Next Day Delivery Guaranteed” policy and its Personable Customer service which guarantees you will speak promptly to a ‘real’ person in our office.

Our story:

After Michael graduated college, he visited China and began buying and selling products as part of an importing/exporting business for his family. In fact, for a short time, he was losing money due to high logistics costs, and Michael noticed many other companies in the New York area were as well. The inconsistency of service and the ‘surprise’ and ‘hidden’ fees he noticed in the Industry provided Michael with additional insight on how to better service companies who needed a fair, honest quote with clear upfront pricing to assure they are getting the best price. He also recognized that customers need real time information and built a process to ensure every customer can track their products easily across the supply chain from A to B through its in-house service team.

He then acquired a company in Ronkonkoma, which is known as Rusco Direct Logistics today and grew it to meet market demand. Initially, Rusco was operating with a couple of trucks, but it quickly grew to a fleet of 15 and a sizeable warehousing facility.
